Earning Points on Skywest Flights
Earn Velocity Frequent Flyer Points for every mile flown with Skywest. Velocity is free to join online.
To earn Velocity Points, simply provide your Velocity membership number at the time of booking or at check-in and your points will be automatically credited to your account.
Points are allocated on a per mile basis and vary depending on the type of fare you purchase:
- Fully flexible fare (Y) - 1 Velocity Point per mile
- Other fare levels (Fare classes K, N, O, V, L, H, T, W, M, E, B) - 0.75 Velocity points per mile
- Webbit and SkyDeal fares (Fare classes S, U, G, Q, A, Z) - 0.5 Velocity points per mile

Status Credits
Status Credits determine your level of membership in the Velocity Frequent Flyer program, and are valid for a period of 12 months from the date flown. The higher the membership level, the greater the benefits you will receive. In addition to base points earned, Silver, Gold and Platinum members can now earn points bonuses which are calculated on miles flown on flights from 1 July 2012.

Redeeming Points for Flights
Redeem your Velocity Points for domestic flights with Skywest and Virgin Australia or even internationally to over 500 destinations worldwide with Velocity's international airline partners. To book, contact the Velocity Membership Contact Centre on 13 18 75 (8:00am - 8:00pm AEST / AEDST excluding Australian public holidays).

* To earn and redeem Velocity Points you must be a velocity member. Velocity membership and points earn and redemption are subject to the member terms and conditions, available here, as amended from time to time. Velocity points cannot be earned on Charter flights, unless specifically advised otherwise at time of booking. Only eligible fare types will earn points as outlined at the Velocity website. When travelling on eligible Skywest fares and flights with a Skywest (XR) flight number, you can only earn points on Skywest operated flights. Please allow 14 days before raising a retrospective points claim for Skywest flights.
